Hacking Your Personal Growth

A successful person – whether an entrepreneur, professional or scholar – isn't born. The person develops and matures until the time they are ready to face the challenges of the world. Their experience teaches them to the ins and outs of living.

Not everyone has access to the same opportunities as some people. Other people must work on themselves to have access on how to improve themselves. If you want to hack your growth, here are some ways to go about your improvement.

1. Hesitating makes you less likely to follow the plan.

When you start putting off the things you say you were going to do, it goes to the back of your mind. It can also come to the end of the list in your subconscious. It also knocks a few pegs off your confidence meter. Confidence is a product of the activities you undertake. Hence, going against your nature doesn't help you improve your confidence.

2. The mental and physical state you have when making decisions affects the quality of your choices.

If you are about to invest your savings on a high-yield investment, will you decide on when you're tired and sleepy? Who in their right mind makes decisions when they're fatigued or most vulnerable?

Use the same thinking when deciding on the course of your day. Since the first few hours of the day are the most crucial for focus, set the tone of the day the way you want to run it. Choose decisions that will make you accomplish most of your day. For instance, set the time of your alarm when you're alert and most productive. A condo for sale in the Philippines close to your workplace gives you a chance to commit your best self to the next day.

3. Change your environment upon waking up.

The flow of your day depends on how much time you spend on your mind. If you're lazing around and delaying the time you have to get up, you are setting your day towards failure. The first five minutes of waking is the difference between a great day or an average one.

To conquer the day, you must do something that makes you feel happy and ecstatic. It helps when you change your environment upon waking up. Establishing a routine pushes you to become proactive instead of reacting to what happens on the day.

4. Start your day with your number one priority in life.

The difference between people who add value to their lives and those who don't depend on the activities they do in their life. What counts on the long-run is doing what's essential – the activities that give them life and brings a smile to their face. It's different from doing what's urgent.

Completing your main priority or priorities in life fills the rest of the gap. It becomes easier to pile on the activities when you accomplish the important one first then follow through with smaller tasks.

5. Proceed with the things you avoid to do.

Face your resistance. Are you putting off a task or goal? Is the activity something you are holding off because of its difficulty or the length of time to accomplish?

To win at life, you must do the things you avoid. Once you get over a hurdle or blockage, the rest what happens in life will flow smoothly. There's no pressure of a looming deadline or piece of work. You're already over it.

A mark of a person depends on how they go about the things and occurrences in their life. Sucess begins from the first five minutes of the day and ends when you accomplish a sense of fulfillment in life. The ultimate hack in life is doing the right things over doing a lot of things in a day.
