1. Hesitating makes you less likely to follow the plan.

It also knocks a few pegs off your confidence meter. Confidence is a product of the activities you undertake. Hence, going against your nature doesn't help you improve your confidence.

2. The mental and physical state you have when making decisions affects the quality of your choices.

If you are about to invest your savings on a high-yield investment, will you decide on when you're tired and sleepy? Who in their right mind makes decisions when they're fatigued or most vulnerable?

Use the same thinking when deciding on the course of your day. Since the first few hours of the day are the most crucial for focus, set the tone of the day the way you want to run it.
